Junior Camp (Ages 5-7)

August 14-18, 9am-12pm       $75.00

A fantastic opportunity for children to discover their theatrical selves through acting, singing, dancing, dress-up games and stories. A week of fun and friends that will open up the magic of theatre. view facebook event page

Intermediate Camp (Ages 8-11)

August 14-18, 1pm-5pm          $100.00

This dynamic week of fun and laughter invites the exploration of characters, dialogue, improv, movement and choreography. Students will strengthen their knowledge of theatre and themselves! . view facebook event page

Senior Camp (Ages 12+)

August 21-25, 9am-4pm          $120.00

After this week of excitement, there will be stories to tell onstage and off! Students will fully experience the theatre; creating characters, accents, improv, stage combat, choreography, teamwork and performing. Senior students also get to design their costumes and lights.

Jake Willett is our theatre camps instructor! Jake is an actor, playwright and arts educator who is thrilled to be back in Halifax after having spent much the last decade or so in Ontario and abroad. He has taught at Festival Antigonish Summer Theatre, Solar Stage Theatre, Arts Express and Mulgrave Road Theatre as well as through Theatre Nova Scotia’s Perform! Program within the Halifax Regional School Board. Jake is very passionate about high quality theatre education in Nova Scotia and is very excited to be teaching at Ship’s Company for the first time.
